We’re Hiring: Legal Manager – Corporate Shared Services
Location: CBD Jakarta | Reports to: Director

PT Prakarsa Energi Sejahtera (PES) is looking for a Legal Manager to help build and centralize our corporate legal function as the company expands its waste-to-fuel business across Indonesia.

PES is an Indonesian waste-to-fuel company committed to transforming urban and industrial waste into productive alternative energy. We operate at the intersection of environmental sustainability, infrastructure development, circular economy, and energy resilience — helping cities reduce landfill dependency while creating valuable fuel products from waste materials.

This is more than a legal role. It is an opportunity to help build the legal foundation for a growing company with strong social, environmental, and commercial impact. As Indonesia faces increasing urban waste challenges, PES is positioned to contribute to cleaner cities, more sustainable waste management, lower environmental impact, and alternative energy development.

The Legal Manager – Corporate Shared Services will lead and centralize legal support across PES business units, providing end-to-end legal advisory, contract review, corporate governance, compliance support, licensing, regulatory coordination, and legal risk management. The role will also help build legal templates, repositories, workflows, and shared service standards to support scalable business growth, investment readiness, and future IPO discipline.

We are looking for candidates with:
• Bachelor of Law from a reputable university local and overseas, preferably master degree.
• GPA minimum 3.2 / 4.0
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in both law firm and corporate legal roles
• Exposure to IDX-listed companies is strongly preferred
• Strong experience in corporate law, litigation, contracts, compliance, licensing, ESG and governance
• Industry exposure in renewable energy, mining, resource-based industries, FMCG, banking, or conglomerates
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• AI literacy and ability to use AI as an assistant for legal research, drafting, contract review, and workflow improvement
• Strong commercial judgment, integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple business units
